Collect entries

Switch to the Bulk edit tab and paste comment usernames, emails, or ticket numbers — one per line. For large lists, drag a CSV or TSV file into the 'Import from CSV / Excel' section. The editor handles long lists without lag.

Frequently asked questions

Can I use this as an OBS browser source for live giveaways?

Yes. Add the URL https://namesonwheel.net/embed#YOUR_HASH as a browser source in OBS, set the dimensions to your overlay size, and you have a transparent-friendly wheel ready to go. The embed page strips all chrome and is built specifically for embedding.

How do I make the giveaway look fair to my audience?

Three things help. (1) Show the entry list visibly on stream before spinning so audience can see all entries. (2) Drop a link to /fairness in your chat — anyone can run 100,000 verification spins in their own browser. (3) Screenshot the result modal post-win and pin it.

Can I give some entrants more entries (boosts)?

Yes — either by listing them multiple times, or by using the *N weight syntax. 'Sub-only entry *5' makes that entry 5x as likely as a regular entry, and the verifiability of that weight is preserved on the Fairness page.

Will the winner ever be one of my known accounts?

Only if you list one. The wheel doesn't know who's friends with whom — it picks from the text you paste. Common best practice is to scrape or copy comments through a separate tool, paste them into the wheel, and let the wheel handle just the random part.

How do I exclude bots / fake entries before spinning?

Pre-filter your list before pasting. Most streamers use a bot to filter unique commenters; we deliberately don't do filtering inside the wheel because that's where bias could be introduced. The wheel's only job is to pick fairly from whatever list you paste.

Can I run 100 picks in a row for a tournament-style giveaway?

Yes. Set 'Pick N winner(s)' up to 50, or run sequential spins with 'Remove winner' tapped after each one. For >50 picks, just keep tapping Remove + Spin.
