Plain English

• Wheel content (names, entries) never leaves your device. We have no database of wheel contents.
• No accounts, no signup, no email collected on the site itself. Saved wheels live in your browser's localStorage.
• Anonymous analytics only. Cloudflare Web Analytics counts page views without cookies or fingerprinting.
• Google AdSense displays ads. AdSense uses cookies and identifiers to serve relevant ads. You can opt out of personalized ads at Google Ad Settings. EU/UK users see a consent banner per applicable law.
• We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. The site is COPPA-friendly: no signup, no upload of personal info. If you're a teacher using this in a classroom, all student names you enter remain on your own device.

1. Who we are

NamesOnWheel.net ("we", "us") operates the website at namesonwheel.net. Contact: info@namesonwheel.net.

2. What information we process

• Wheel content (names, entries, weights, wheel names): stored in your browser's localStorage on your own device. We do not transmit, store, or process this content on our servers.
• Aggregate page-view analytics: via Cloudflare Web Analytics. No cookies, no client-side scripts that fingerprint, no individual tracking.
• AdSense interactions: Google's terms apply. See Google's privacy policy.
• Email correspondence: if you email us, we keep that email until the conversation is resolved (typically < 90 days).

3. Cookies

We do not set first-party cookies for analytics or tracking. Google AdSense (third party) sets its own cookies for ad personalization and measurement. Decline these via your browser settings or via Google's opt-out.

4. Local storage

We use localStorage in your browser to remember (a) your most recent wheel and recent wheels list, (b) your sound mute preference, (c) your theme. None of this data is sent to us or to any third party.

5. Children

NamesOnWheel is suitable for use in classrooms with children, because it doesn't collect personal information from anyone. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

6. Your rights

Because we don't collect personal data, there is little to access, port, or delete. To clear locally-stored data, clear your browser's site data for namesonwheel.net. To stop seeing personalized ads, opt out via your Google Ad Settings or block third-party cookies.

7. Data location

Cloudflare Web Analytics processes aggregate metrics globally on Cloudflare's network. AdSense processes data per Google's policies. Your wheel content stays on your device.

We will update this page if our practices change. Material changes will be announced in the changelog.
